Discover the secrets of painting beautiful watercolors. We offer three classes designed to cater to beginners and enthusiasts who are interested in learning and enhancing their watercolor painting skills. Each class will cover different topics, providing a comprehensive learning experience for participants who choose to attend any or all of the classes offered. Each class will be structured with a combination of demonstrations, hands-on practice, individual feedback, and group discussions. Rick Long started drawing at an early age. Naturally gifted as an artist, in recent years he has developed his skills as a watercolorist and is sought after for commissioned portraits, landscapes, and animal paintings. He has master’s degrees in acting and education and is a skilled communicator. He encourages creativity, self-expression, and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment.

In Watercolor Portaits participants will learn the fundamental techniques and principles of watercolor portrait painting. They will explore facial proportions, color mixing, and capturing likeness while utilizing the expressive qualities of watercolor. Participants will be equipped to create their own watercolor portraits.
