Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned vegan home cook, this class is sure to satisfy every palette. In a welcoming environment, learn how to easily cook with vegan ingredients to create a meal that everyone will love. Stores today stock many of the ingredients that can transform favorite recipes into healthier versions that are kinder to the planet, and just as tasty! Each session of this hands-on class gives you the chance to help prepare and then enjoy a different recipe. Sign up for one or all the sessions: vegan enchilada casserole, vegan vegetable korma, vegan curried cauliflower kale stew, and vegan pasta Bolognese. Pam Metz has been cooking vegan for over 12 years and has experimented with many recipes to make nutritious, delicious vegan food. She is excited to share her knowledge and love of vegan cooking along with her personal story of eating vegan. Bring your questions about vegan cooking and a food container for leftovers. Vegan enchilada casserole - Learn to make a delicious and healthy alternative to the traditional Mexican dish that's typically made with meat and cheese. This vegan recipe has all the ingredients you love in the original, including gooey cheese, plant-based "meat" and spicy sauce - it's sure to satisfy vegans and meat-eaters alike.

Vegan vegetable korma - Our vegan vegetable korma recipe is a delicious and creamy dish made with a variety of vegetables, spices and coconut milk. It's a perfect option for those who are looking for a healthy and flavorful meal that is also vegan-friendly.

Vegan pasta Bolognese - If you're a pasta fan, you'll love this recipe! It's a classic Italian dish that consists of pasta topped with a rich and savory meat sauce made with plant-based ground "beef", tomato sauce, vegetables, and herbs. It's a hearty meal, perfect for any occasion.

Vegan curried cauliflower kale soup - This flavorful and creamy soup is made with vegetables, spices and coconut milk, giving it a unique and delicious taste. It's a healthy and satisfying dish that's perfect for a chilly day or as a starter for a dinner party.

CFU is at 7653 E 1st Pl. Denver, CO 80230 (NE corner of Red Cross Way & 1st Pl). From 1st Ave and Quebec St, head east on 1st Ave to the stop sign at Roslyn St. Make a left on Roslyn and then a quick right on 1st Pl, heading east 2.5 blocks (past Red Cross Way) as the parking lot is on the east side of the building. Turn left into the parking lot, once in the lot we are on your left in the 2-story light tan brick building with red tiled roof. If you hit Spruce Street you've gone too far.
