By embracing the beauty of the paint's natural, unruly tendencies we can break away from stifling perfectionism and quickly learn to create beautiful results. Learn basic watercolor techniques in this four-week course and take home a landscape painting using what you have learned. Create the illusion of space, value and light. Learn to mix watercolor paint and control water. We will focus on art concepts including color theory and composition. Learn about perspective and how to create the illusion of space using foreground, middle ground and background.
Kelly Craighead is a fine artist (drawing, painting, printmaking, collage) and has taught through her art program, Invoke Arts, for 10 years. She creates a warm, supportive environment where you can enjoy the process as you create!
