The Simply Word course includes basic Word skills, such as how to navigate efficiently; how to create and manage basic document setup and formatting for professional-looking documents. Tips, Tricks, and Gotchas are included throughout.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Personal Computers / Understanding of basics of Windows; some exposure to Word

On-Demand eLearning courses allow you to learn at your own pace and whenever it's convenient for you. All eLearning courses come with instructional videos, downloadable e-notes workbook, practice file, and knowledge review questions to assess your understanding of the topic. The video courses are composed of six 15-minute segments, for a total of 90-minutes per topic session. Students will receive an email within 2 business days of registering for the course containing a link to the online eLearning videos and downloadable class files and course E-Notes. Videos are accessible for 120 days.

On-Demand courses were developed by Mitzi Katz, a longtime CFU instructor and professional trainer, in collaboration with Ann Marie Elacqua, instructional designer, to provide busy professionals the opportunity to upgrade skills in a way that is convenient and efficient.
