This class offers practical tips and explores the psychological theories behind sexual anxiety, empowering participants to understand and manage their concerns for healthier, more confident sexual experiences. Participants will gain insights into the root causes of their anxieties, from societal pressures and past experiences to personal insecurities and relationship dynamics. The educational course delves into the psychological and physiological aspects of anxiety, helping students to identify triggers and understand their own responses. In addition to theory, this class provides concrete strategies for managing and reducing sexual anxiety. Techniques such as mindfulness, communication exercises, and body-positive practices will be discussed, empowering participants to build confidence and foster healthier, more fulfilling sexual relationships.

Fawn O'Breitzman has been teaching human sexuality for over 20 years in colleges and universities. She helped found the Sexploratorium, a sexual education center and museum where people can learn about human anatomy and sexuality without fear or shame. She is a published author, former TV anchor, mom of two adopted kids, and is obsessed with Basset Hounds.
