Learning a new language is challenging, especially as an adult. This class sets you up for greater success by leveraging your knowledge of English while making connections to Spanish. In this introduction course, you will listen, read, write, and speak to learn how to hear and pronounce Spanish correctly. Learn the pronunciation of any Spanish word and  practice techniques for basic communication using the most essential Spanish vocabulary. The key to learning a language is to practice it often! In this class, you will practice speaking using minimal vocabulary in order to get the most out of Spanish resources. Tracy Bravo-Zander has been a K-12 Spanish teacher in Denver for over 20 years. She will share what helped her become fluent over the years. Take this and Step Two: Ready, Set, Spanish classes to build a foundation so that you'll be more comfortable and ready to benefit from CFU's grammar focused Spanish curriculum. Tuition includes a workbook with activities and vocabulary. NOTE: This course will be offered via Zoom.
